Cranking Up : First Fortnight at ISB - O-Week and Beyond

So after all the toiling for GMAT , applications, interviews , the day was here when we stepped into the hallowed halls of this campus with a dream shining in our eyes

When a mail by srikanth-The Admissions guy just a day before Day 0 cautioned us to pack suitably because we will not get time to "Unpack" in the O- week , we knew we are in for something interesting.

Living up to the tradition, Class of 2015 was all ready to welcome the Incoming class on 17th-18 the Midnight.

It was now that i realised the sacrosanctity of the rules/traditions at ISB. We were allocated our rooms at sharp 00:00 AM.

Class of 2015 had done a wonderful job in planning an amazing O-week for us. It was the one of the smoothest registration process on Day-0 that i have experienced.

The O-Week had it all.  There were Parties every alternate day: Back To School, Traffic Light, Sun upper, Section Wars : Sport competitions and talent night, Treasure Hunt, Team Building Activities , Business simulation game and our first course : Leader Development programme, Presentations about departments,clubs at activities.

The Week was already preparing us for a rollercoaster ahead. We were already up till late night learning those dance steps for the section talent night, playing an amazing treasure hunt game. Partying hard every other day.

It was a great experience meeting a lot of amazing people from around the country over fun filled activities and by the end of the O-Week this place felt like home.

The tiring yet amazing O-Week passed like a blink of an eye ending with an amazing sunupper all-night party with the alums and then academia kicked in.

Overcoming the inertia for study caused by detachment from formal academic life we were in the system by the mid of Week -1.So there were pre-reads, class lectures, post reads, quizzes, assignments right from the Day-1. Every thing was fast paced inline with what we had expected.

The First Official Statistics Quiz at the end of Week-1 and everybody was here for an experience :P.
The 1st Weekend and we knew that weekends are not going to be what they used to be with loads of assignments piled up and deadline clock ticking in. yes we were on a Roller Coaster with the First Dip of the coaster waiting for us on the upcoming wednesday : Unilever Case.

Its time that i take a nap and prepare my self up for another " exciting weekend "  ahead. Hope to be back soon to delve further into #theisbexperience.
